Members of Congress and all Elected Officials Can:

  1. Visit some of the many Middle East Peace Making Organizations, and
  2. Observe and report what these organizations are doing on the ground.
  3. Listen to all sides of the conflict, including Hamas and Hesbula, then
  4. Publicly Acknowledge injustices no matter who is involved. Call it like it is: torture is wrong, suicide bombing is wrong, and The Israeli settlements are wrong. (We can’t expect peace if we lie and cover up the harm we commit.)
  5. Call for policies that correct all injustices committed by the United States and our Allies. (In particular, demanding an end to the illegal settlements in the West Bank)
  6. Oppose the sale of weapons and the general arming of the Middle East and
  7. Support Increased Funding for the Peace Corps.
  8. End the failed policy of Preemptive War, and
  9. Focus our vast budgetary resources on Waging Peace.
  10. Support a policy of Peaceful Non-violent Intervention with the Root Causes and Mechanisms of War.
